Investigation on silver-water nanofluid for development of new viscosity correlation

ABSTRACT. The present study addresses an experimental investigation on the influence of concentration nanoparticles and temperature nanofluid's viscosity establishes a numerical correlation for predicting viscosity. In this study, silver (Ag) with size 20 nm were used to prepare nanofluid water as base fluid. concentrations fixed 0.01, 0.05, 0.1% by volume in range from 60oC. findings current investigations report that increases fractions decreases increases. theoretical correlations literature under predict silver-water nanofluids, which has led development new relationship determining nanofluids' effective research. proposed model outcome confirms reasonable agreement data.
